About Co.Labs

Co.Labs is Saskatchewan’s tech startup incubator. We work with founders across the province to help them build, launch, and grow globally competitive technology companies. Since 2017, our alumni have generated $142M in revenue and raised over $69M in Venture Capital. Co.Labs also operates Uniting the Prairies, the largest tech conference in Saskatchewan, which brings together 600+ founders, investors, and community members each year. Co.Labs’ central position in the ecosystem has created an exciting and challenging work environment that accelerates the careers of its people.

About the Role

As Co.Labs’ Community Intern, you will help make the Co.Labs office, events, and behind-the-scenes systems more organized, welcoming, and useful for our team and startups. You'll report to our Operations Manager and work across the Co.Labs team.

You’ll get to see inside of the tech ecosystem and help us build a place for the community to meet and build companies. You'll be the person who makes sure that all of the little details are taken care of.

What You’ll Do

Bring our events to life

  • Help set up, run, and tear down community events, like Community Nights, Co.Hack, and Co.Launch Finale. Most events happen in the evenings and/or weekends, so be prepared for funky hours from time to time.
  • Support our flagship annual event, Uniting the Prairies. You must be available April 28 and 29, 2027 for this.

Create a desirable office environment for our team and startups

  • Handle practical office work: groceries, supplies, equipment, and the everyday details that keep the space working.
  • Help make the office a welcoming, organized place for the Co.Labs team, resident startups, and visitors.

Support programs administration

  • Help keep information organized through data entry, taxonomy and labelling work, and Google Drive organization.
  • Support the team with special projects that make our systems easier to use and programs running smoother.

Who We Are Looking For

We care about attitude above all else. You are dependable, organized, and not afraid to be yourself. You notice what needs doing, ask when you are unsure, and help people feel supported. You are interested in startups, community, events, or how organizations work behind the scenes. Bring great energy on Day 1, and we can teach you the rest.

This is a temporary, part-time role, working at our office in Saskatoon (located in the Innovation Saskatchewan Research & Technology Parks on the North side of USask campus). We are looking for a commitment of roughly 15-20 hours per week, but we’re really flexible on schedule. Pay will be $20-24/hour. The contract runs from September 2026 through April 2027 (ends with Uniting the Prairies).

If the shoe fits (or kinda sorta fits), please apply! We encourage applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, origin, or disability.
