VettyPet is looking for an Intermediate Software Developer to help shape and scale a white-label e-commerce platform for veterinary clinics. Job Brief:
We are looking for someone who is excited about the challenge to help own,build and implement our technical strategies. We are an early stage companyexploding with potential and passion for animal health and wellness. This role wasstructured for someone who is excited about being a pivotal part of building from theground-up with complete freedom and ultimate accountability. We are looking for atalented individual to take the lead and help us continue to build our globalcommunity of empowered pet parents taking the best care of their very best friends.

Job Duties:

● Design, code, and test major features in collaboration with team members to deliver complex changes.
● Define, design, and implement, object-oriented distributed software applications.
● Maintain and modify existing applications, while layering in custom programming solutions.
● Debug or fix defects to help develop amazing software features.
● Provide design documents and documentation to ensure efficient maintenance and code reuse.
● Participate in the design and implementation of databases.
● Ensure the functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules and system architecture for each assignment.
● Own your role: provide recommendations for improvements in the overall development process. You get to be a foundational creator.

Desired Skills:

● Passionate about animals and solving purposeful technical problems
● Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience.
● Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, Razor, and SQL
● Proficiency in responsive and mobile-first development
● Familiarity with the MVC architectural pattern and service-orientedarchitecture
● Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a software development role
● Work experience in ecommerce would be a bonus
●Able to effectively communicate and work with technical and non-technicalteam members
● Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects with minimalsupervision
● High level of strategic, critical and logical thinking. Your opinions matter andwill make a huge impact on building out core solutions.

Compensation: $80,000 to $90,000 based on level of experience. Other perks and benefits available to be discussed.
