About Co.Labs

Co.Labs is Saskatchewan’s tech startup incubator. We work with founders across the province to help them build, launch, and grow globally competitive technology companies. Since 2017, our alumni have generated nearly $100M in revenue and raised over $50M in Venture Capital. Co.Labs also operates Uniting the Prairies, the largest tech conference in Saskatchewan, which brings together 650 founders, investors, and community members each year. Co.Labs’ central position in the ecosystem has created an exciting and challenging work environment that accelerates the careers of its people.

About the Role

Co.Labs is seeking a Marketing Coordinator. This hands-on, execution-first role is ideal for an early-career marketing professional eager to learn how startups are built and tech communities are grown. As a one-person marketing team, your job is to collaborate across functions, turning inputs from the Executive Director, Programs Team, and Founders into polished, well-distributed content quickly and reliably.

You will contribute directly to both the Co.Labs and Uniting the Prairies brands, promote our events to the community, and engage with external stakeholders to be the link between Co.Labs and the ecosystem. Done effectively, this role is a front-row seat to supporting the most innovative, fastest-growing companies in Saskatchewan.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Building Brand Awareness (for both Co.Labs and Uniting the Prairies):

  • Manage social media accounts (includes drafting, scheduling, posting)
  • Write, format, and send email newsletters using Hubspot
  • Create and publish blog posts, founder features, and event announcements
  • Generate basic graphics and creative assets with Canva or an equivalent tool
  • Build and organize website content using Webflow

Marketing Workflow & Tooling Ownership:

  • Manage HubSpot as our CRM, and integrate it into workflows across teams
  • Use tools like ChatGPT and Grammarly to accelerate day-to-day tasks
  • Gather insights from marketing analytics to improve reach and relevance
  • Evaluate and implement new tools to increase clarity and speed of execution

Communications & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the Programs Team to amplify startup wins and milestones
  • Be the point-person on media outreach and public relations
  • Maintain a clean media asset library (logos, photos, past campaigns)

Who We Are Looking For

“Need to haves”

  • Strong writing skills and ability to distill complex topics
  • Confidence using digital tools and a desire to test and adopt new ones
  • Solid organizational habits—you like building/ following clean processes to track work
  • A “get things done” mindset: when things are unclear, you ask questions and get moving
  • Comfort working in an environment where priorities change fast

“Nice to haves”

  • Experience planning or supporting events
  • Exposure to startups, tech companies, or incubators (to be clear, we really don’t expect this)
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, Canva, and Webflow
  • Managed projects with many inputs and stakeholders

Why This Role Is Different

Unlike most entry-level marketing roles, with Co.Labs you will:

  • Have a lot of autonomy (you get to bring your own ideas to the table)
  • Interact directly with startup CEOs, investors, and tech leaders

Show up each day curious and ambitious, and Co.Labs can accelerate your career by 5 years.
