About Co.Labs

Co.Labs is Saskatchewan’s tech startup incubator. We work with founders across the province to help them build, launch, and grow globally competitive technology companies. Since 2017, our alumni have generated $142M in revenue and raised over $69M in Venture Capital. Co.Labs also operates Uniting the Prairies, the largest tech conference in Saskatchewan, which brings together 600+ founders, investors, and community members each year. Co.Labs’ central position in the ecosystem has created an exciting and challenging work environment that accelerates the careers of its people.

About the Role

We're hiring an Early-Stage Program Coordinator to run Co.Labs' earliest founder experiences. This is a high-volume, hands-on role. You will work with founders who are still testing ideas, learning what customers need, and deciding how to turn an early insight into a real company. Your job is not to have every answer for them, but to ask useful questions and founders take the next step.

This role works directly on Co.Learn, our early-stage founder community, and Co.Launch, our early-stage bootcamp program. You will meet with dozens of founders, helping identify what stage they are at and level of support they need. As a member of the Programs team, you’ll keep the founder pipeline moving and prepare founders for the next stages of support at Co.Labs.

What You’ll Do

Run Co.Learn and Co.Launch day to day

  • Be the first point-of-contact for early-stage founders as they come to Co.Labs, supporting founders through early questions, milestones, and decisions with responsiveness.
  • Run the Co.Learn program and community, supporting founders year-round as they begin their journey.
  • Administer two Co.Launch cohorts each year, including communications, schedules, materials, founder follow-up, and planning the Co.Launch Finale event.

Build a strong early-stage founder pipeline

  • Manage early-stage founder intake, initial screening, timely follow-up, and clear records as founders enter Co.Labs' pipeline.
  • Recommend appropriate founders to Co.Learn, Co.Launch, and (sometimes) directly to our late stage programming.

Keep systems, communication, and collaboration strong

  • Use founder activity, participation, and program information to maintain accurate early-stage KPI tracking.
  • Support events, program sessions, and community moments that help early founders feel connected to Co.Labs and the community.
  • Notice recurring founder needs and delivery bottlenecks, then bring useful observations and improvement ideas to the Program Manager.

Who We Are Looking For

You are organized, personable, and genuinely interested in startups and technology. You do not need to have founded a company or worked in a startup before, but you do need to care about how early companies are built and be willing to learn quickly.

You will be a strong fit if you bring:

  • Good organization and follow-through across many moving pieces, people, and deadlines.
  • Clear, warm communication and the confidence to ask useful questions when information is incomplete.
  • The ability to manage a high volume of relationships without losing attention to detail.
  • Bias towards action, and comfort working in a very fast-changing environment where you’ll be faced with multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Curiosity and interest in technology.

Come to Co.Labs eager to learn and we can help accelerate your career by 5 years.
